Town had a really good Ladies side about 12 years ago, run by a couple of people from Ludford area. I think money became the issue, and it must have folded.

Lincoln also had a good side, but they morphed into Notts County and went under. Before that, they had a couple of internationals playing for them - one was I think the Aussie keeper.
