Wouldn’t it be great if Grimsby Town had a Women’s team too. Practically every professional club out there seems to have a Women’s team these days. There must surely be plenty of footballing ladies that would be keen and proud to wear the black and white stripes

We've had a few in the first team squad in recent times who would have been better in a ladies XI

There used to be a Grimsby ladies team as remember my daughter playing against them around ten years ago I think.

My daughter played for Nettleham the team that are to be morphed into Lincoln Ladies and if I remember right GTFC ladies won the Lincs League and were promoted into a Central Midlands League. Once my daughter moved down to Cheltenham and started playing for them lost track of what was happening locally.

I watched about ten mins after just flicking through channels , what I saw was dreadful really poor standard maybe it got better ?? But I turned over for a bit of fools &horses on gold

Town had a really good Ladies side about 12 years ago, run by a couple of people from Ludford area. I think money became the issue, and it must have folded.
Lincoln also had a good side, but they morphed into Notts County and went under. Before that, they had a couple of internationals playing for them - one was I think the Aussie keeper.

I think some on here pleasure themselves at the thought of Lincoln City.
