Absolute Legend of the English game, World Cup winner, a save that will be shown forever and used as a benchmark for all great goalkeeping saves now and in the future.

Rest in peace Gordon.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Aye. RIP Gordon.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Use to come in and buy a pie from my shop. A lovely man and an absolute gentleman. Did a lot for the charities in the area.
When I think of some of the people they give knighthoods to its a tragedy they didnt find room to give him one.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”
