Best win for years! Backs to the wall, but sheer determination, grit, work ethic and will to win have sealed it! I’m loving what I’m seeing from this team at the minute.

Bring on the Palace!!!

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Can't remember when we last won four league games on the trot.

Excellent.

The big worry is that we are a bit short on central defenders for Tuesday

With Ring available on Tuesday it may give us some more options, but from the sound of it we should carry on with Pollack?. He played the last forty odd minutes today and was pretty solid by all accounts..

First win at Exeter in 39 years apparently.

Also first time we have scored against them home or away since our return to football league.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Can i also just give praise to Mattie Pollock, being rushed on in them circumstances at 17 years old in his first match, he was absolutely fantastic, won important headers, threw is body on the line and also saved a definable goal with a goal line clearance.

Fantastic M.J. is willing to throw young body’s in there like Pollock and Akheem who won us that penalty with his pace.

Fantastic.

Problem now is that Jolley is likely to win manager of the month and we know what always seems to happen in the game following such an award...

If we’re talking football league, without checking I’d reckon it’s at least a decade ago. Potentially 2005/6 season under Slade.

Quite remarkable really.
