Cheapish for central London yes but usually filled with tourists or passing travellers and if I’m honest ( I was there about a month back ) the food is poor quality even for wethers


Agree.
If Wspoons is your thing or you are working to a budget it's a standard outlet.
London has great pubs to offer with quality ales and food,not some of the dross served in some Wspoons.

Borough Market for street food then enjoy that area for afternoon drinks before heading to Selhurst Park in good time for atmosphere build up.

Ha ha yes it was cold that was the problem on the last occasion, obviously chef ping had moved on.
