Planned a trip as my mates son is Secretary at Gainsborough, another mates lad plays for them so good afternoon out planned only for my daughters to remind me it’s my Grandsons first birthday and his do clashes with the match. Blame her partner as he is season ticket holder at Lincoln and think he secretly planned this to p.... me off 😩

I have soft spot for the ground as I used to spend a week of my summer hols 60 years ago at my aunties house nearby. I will pay homage.
Pleasant facilities and nosh but taken far too seriously by some of the home team. I hope MJ gives the ressies plenty of minutes and rests some like Macca, Vernam, Welsh, Collins, Hooper Hessie et al.

Just checking, is the game on or have Lincolnshire police cancelled it due  to the Grimsby hoards descending on Gainsborough. Perhaps they are bringing in reinforcements from South Yorkshire to help.

I didn't realise that Les... thanks for the heads up  

I've never been to their place so was planning on getting there about 1-00 to park up early and have a Spoons lunch before kick off

It'd have been a bit of a shock to be heading towards the ground just before 3 to find out the game was just ending!
