Anyone bothering on Saturday with the last pre season game at Gainsborough?

Not me. I found it hard enough to get to BP last night and although I enjoyed it an away pre season friendly hold little interest

Planned a trip as my mates son is Secretary at Gainsborough, another mates lad plays for them so good afternoon out planned only for my daughters to remind me it’s my Grandsons first birthday and his do clashes with the match. Blame her partner as he is season ticket holder at Lincoln and think he secretly planned this to p.... me off 😩

I’m going to take my daughter and my grandad over. My old Grandad hasn’t been on BP since 2002 and lives in Gainsborough still so thought I’d take a ride back over.

I have soft spot for the ground as I used to spend a week of my summer hols 60 years ago at my aunties house nearby. I will pay homage.
Pleasant facilities and nosh but taken far too seriously by some of the home team. I hope MJ gives the ressies plenty of minutes and rests some like Macca, Vernam, Welsh, Collins, Hooper Hessie et al.

Just checking, is the game on or have Lincolnshire police cancelled it due to the Grimsby hoards descending on Gainsborough. Perhaps they are bringing in reinforcements from South Yorkshire to help.

Excellent news for me, maybe not so good news for Trinity, they should find things pretty tough. Will enjoy the game but on this occasion I won't be doing much cheering whoever scores!.

I've never been to their place so was planning on getting there about 1-00 to park up early and have a Spoons lunch before kick off
It'd have been a bit of a shock to be heading towards the ground just before 3 to find out the game was just ending! ::)
