Maybe we should launch a similar membership scheme to Lincoln's.......

"The club have today launched the ‘My Imps’ membership scheme, aimed at those fans who do not have the means or desire to purchase a season ticket.
The scheme, which came out at the same time as the ‘on the gate’ prices, is aimed at fans who can only attend a handful of games a season. The scheme will cost £10 per season, but offers a £2 per match discount on tickets. If you intend to come to five matches or more, it make sense to become a My Imps member "

Do we still do the early bird prices until 12:30 at £2 off? This offer also has no annual cost.

What a load of crap. We have an early bird scheme without any 'membership' nonsense. Some people just want to have a go at the club!

23 league games at Lincoln @ full price = £506
23 league games at Lincoln with "MyGimps" = £470    (Saving £46 less £10 = £36)

23 league games at Grimsby @ full price = £483
23 league game with "Early Bird" = £437   (Saving £46)

Erroneous comparison. The early bird discount commits you to over £400. The MyGimps thing allows people the flexibility if they can't afford a season ticket. They're not going to go to 23 league games.

I have a go at the club because it's made so many mistakes and missed opportunities.

Season ticket holder for the last few seasons.....so does this mean if I buy my ticket on the day before 12.30 I get £2 off ?

The early bird discount is also a term used by the club for those that buy tickets from when they are released on sale up until 2 hours before kick off. It is the same offer Lincoln have just introduced but we don't charge people £10 for the privilege and have been doing it for years now.

Been said many times before but we need to understand the working patterns of our fan base. At any point of the season, fans should be able to specify 5 games they can attend and buy tickets at a discounted rate similar to the discount a season ticket offers.
