Too many crossed balls by us too close to their keeper and dealing with them well....he's shite at kicking the ball out though.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Presumably we lost 1-0 but confirmation would be helpful

A massive improvement on the slade era, thought the second string played at a better pace than the team that started. They had a bit more quality than us , a real shame Sunderland have fallen so far, they maybe worth a fiver to get promoted.
Finally, come on JF push the boat out and give us a quality forward to help the lad we've got.

I dont think they’d be worth a fiver at all!! Thought they were very average! Really impressed with akheem rose, like lightning and MOM for town was the Number 3, fakemo? From luton

Did ok but looked nervy at times.

Collins was first class as was Mitch Rose.

Limitations of a back 3 plus wing backs was evident tonight when we were pushed back into a flat back 5 and unable to get out enough.

Not reading too much into things but Fox struggled as a left wing back, Robles looks very limited and the trialist from Liverpool looked like a kebab shop owner, certainly not a footballer. The ginger lad triallist did quite well, Hessentaler also looked fine and A Rose is bloody quick.

Sunderland had a few first choice players including Gooch, Honeyman, Maguire, and McManaman. Their original keeper was impressive. Not sure who else was playing for them but looked neat and tidy but like us, mainly lacked penetration

I'm no expert but I think the only thing we can learn from tonight is that we haven't got a target man that can hold the ball up.
