As per the title.. Anyone heard of plans to get a big screen up in the market square or on the seafront somewhere? It'll be rammed in every bar with the scooter rally!

15M screen going up at Waves. Last time I went in there many years ago the beer was rubbish though

I bet pubs object to screen in market square itself

Sleep well Icey, Matty and Richard. Keep each other company up there xx

Town should hire one and put it on the pitch in front of the Findus or the council should use that white elephant events centre thing near bonkers bank for something useful for once in their lives.

4 years ago I had to suffer my German in-laws, watching their national team beat Argentina around this time. They are staying over again now...so they will be watching the match with me in a pub in East Grinstead. And yes, I'm on strict instructions not to mention zie VAR

Not sure why the res cross. The majority will want to experience scooter rally and see the game. No way will the pubs be able to cope with demand which could lead to trouble if you can't get in a pub. If the council were to put a big screen up both the pubs will be packed and the atmosphere outside would be amazing.

It's a good idea I reckon, you've got a few different bars/pubs you can go into for a drink/the loo and a big screen in the market square so everyone can enjoy. It's going to be absolute chaos getting served as it stands..

I am the only one off here watching it at Swins BBQ. ?
I got my PM straight after the match last night.
Thought there might be a few ‘ fishies’ joining us !!

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

AT home. Can't be doing with that argy argy in the pub getting served and paying a fiver a pint.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.

You'll all be very welcome I'm sure. Let Mrs Swin know numbers and what booze you're bringing.

I won't be there, hopefully I'll be watching it in the Sports bar on Leidseplein, if I remember through my Belgian beer and funny fags haze (if not I'll get the result later sometime)

No interest in watching it in a pub with drunks and people who 'know' about football and will tell you all about it.

Hopefully not in the Londoner. They still remember the England fans smashing all of their windows!

I shall be at home in Denmark, with my wife questioning how English commentators can call Denmark boring given how England play

In the famous or infamous (depending on your experiences) Bradley Inn.
Will also be wearing Town colours for luck as I realised after the game on Thursday I have worn something with a Town badge on during all the games apart from the Belgium match.........

I’m closing message in a bottle 3pm to 5.30pm so I can nip home and watch it! Really hope we don’t have to go through extra time and penalties again. Our record against Sweden isn’t good, they are a boring but effective team but I’m confident we will win in 90 mins.

Depends how you look at it. Some might say we've won 2 in 15. I'd say we're unbeaten in the last 4 competitive games against them!

I'm doing my level 1 coaching badge and 1 of the sessions is 9 to 5 Saturday. I've emailed them to see if we will have a TV in the room around 3pm for the theory (half joking) and they've replied saying they'll send an email out soon, so I'm assuming they're trying to work on a way of us being able to watch it. If so I'll be at Cullompton rangers fc ground with 30 other eager amateur managers watching it

Ah Cullompton. The local magistrates court did a roaring business in speeding fines

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Settle Social Club or round the corner at home with my four day old daughter and partner's parents. If it were only her dad, I'd watch at home but not sure now. Will decide when I see how much/little sleep we have tonight

Managed to get home from the Yorkshire Dales (Hawes) today in time to watch us beat Sweden. Saw us beat Tunisia in the Youth Hostel on the Isle of Arran, then the games against Panama and Belgium were viewed in a rented cottage on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. The win against Columbia was witnessed in Wetherspoons in Ayr, surrounded by Jocks and a table full of very excited Spanish speakers, who i presume were Columbian fans, or at least wanted Columbia to win. There was a few English fans in there, but the biggest cheer of the night was saved for when Columbia got their late equaliser, when the local Scots celebrated long and loud. They looked very glum when we won the shoot out.

Had a great and very sunny holiday, made all the better by the exploits of England. Even managed to see a pod of dolphins and a Minke whale fully breach out of the water on the ferry from Islay to Oban. Also saw a white tailed Sea Eagle up close on a rock during a boat trip out to Staffa to see Fingle's cave. Magical!

That must have been so sweet being there with all those Bitter Jocks when we won the shoot out.

Don't do the same thing for the semis then Ron, cause it'll be your fault if we lose

Hardly any. I had to keep pinching myself to believe i was in Scotland. Not a spot of rain, wall to wall sunshine and very few midges about. Horseflies (clegs) were the main problem. I was bitten a few times by the little sods and they drew blood. Mainly sticking to the coast with a breeze helps with the midges.

Yeah it was. Made my very nice beer taste even better. Was talking to a guy from Birmingham who has lived there for 7 years and he was well chuffed as he's had stick in the past from the locals.

Town should hire one and put it on the pitch in front of the Findus or the council should use that white elephant events centre thing near bonkers bank for something useful for once in their lives.
