I want to say Bolland, I want to say Disley as well. Damn you Rob for making me choose!

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

Bobby Cumming
Hardest bloke ever to wear a Town shirt.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Bolland was a excellent player and it was a great shame that injury blighted his time here but from that list it has to be Disley.

I don't think many players of the past 10 years will make this team but Diz is an exception.

Easy one for me, Disley

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

I loved Bolland and he was a great player, but Disley has to be my choice for what he did over many seasons. One of the few positives from our non league years.

Disley. I started watching Town in 1996 as a six year old  but he is the first Town legend who I have been old enough to watch and properly appreciate. If any Town captain has half enough heart for the job as he did we’ll do alright with them.
