I came across a number of the 'Black and White Corner' fanzines the other day. Done I think by Jake Olley, I don't know how many there were before it went mammaries up but I have four or five of the first seven

Anyway I was amazed how much information there was in them, some great articles and in number 7 a superb lengthy interview with Sir Matt.

It also gives a lot of names for the 'Players you forgot' thread (or in many cases 'Players you didn't forget as you never heard of them')

I remember that game well. 1986/87 season, last game under Mike L**ns (still can't bring myself to spell his name out). We were already relegated. Lost 5-1. To be fair he didn't really have much chance with any of the goals, it's just that the team we had at the time were so bloody awful. We'd also lost 6-0 at Stoke in the FA Cup earlier that same season.

Jimmy Gilligan, think we offered Watford 100 grand for him on the day they were letting him go for free. They took the money, we got Gilligan and employed  probably one òf the worst players I've ever seen.
