I wouldn't like to be JF in his seat if we start losing convincingly on Saturday.

Probably be better off watching from one of the executive boxes.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

So at the moment, 77% of Grimsby fans polled, put league survival ahead of any personal axe they have to grind with John Fenty.

Pleased to hear it.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

"Fenty out" is portrayed as a goal in itself, but it's a negative action, and would leave a vacuum to fill which is very much a huge unknown. As we've seen on other threads there is much dissatisfaction at the way the Trust (which is probably what would be forced to step in and fill the void) is run and the fact that everyone is busy doing their own thing to devote large chunks of their lives to football. As happened with Iraq, regime change should not be an end in itself, and it's very naive just to believe everything would be roses following the tyrant's removal.

That doesn't mean I want him to stay, or even think that we will, I just think some people need to be careful what they wish for.

He has been a poor leader no question but who wants a full time job, rotten pay and endless criticism. Not sure there will be a queue.......... utm
