England to win the wc ...... nothing is gonna change at bp so if its not this year it will be next . Winning the world cup is a once in a life time thing for England .....

I have seen England win the world cup and this team are no way near good enough,

So if we did win it in Russia it would be like Town getting promoted to the premiership ,

I am not saying its impossible because football is aa funny old game innit  ?

Can't see Town staying up on current form and England have as much chance of winning the World Cup as Town's new stadium happening.

Club comes before country for me so I voted............Finish 22nd and survive.

Greece and Portugal have both won major tournaments with teams no better than ours right now, so England CAN win it. They should be a 20/1 shot or so, and there’s a good 7-8 teams who should be better than us, but the world doesn’t work like that anymore, for some reason. It would be a miracle, but right now I’d say there’s as much chance of it happening as Town staying up!

I’ll gladly admit I voted for England. I wouldn’t have done in 2010, staying up would have meant everything to me then, but we’ve been down there now, experienced it, and this team deserves to be relegated because they’re awful.

I hope to god we stay up, but this 17 game run has an air of inevitability about it.

It’s not like that at all. I’m desperate for us to stay up, it’s taking up every waking minute of my thoughts right now, BUT I thoroughly expect to go my whole life without seeing England win the World Cup, which devastates me.

I’ve seen Town get promoted a few times, and relegated lots of times in my life, and I expect to see plenty more of each before I clock off.
