Dear John
A quick message from the clubs biggest investors.
Please listen to us.
We are not happy
We want a change, our investment in the club is going to rapidly vanish unless there is one.
You know what we want, we have told you, are you listening?
If you had a manager at Five star performing like this he would no longer be at five star.
Make a change John you know it makes sense

Even in the 'fickle & volatile' world of football, I don't think a major shareholder/non-chairman/JF changes his mind inside a day and a half.

No, but it remains to be seen what influence the 'club's largest investor' has on decisions around the way the club is run if we lose tomorrow, and then lose again, and again. Growing unrest and sub 3000 crowds can't be ignored for long so Slade and Fenty better pray that they can actually deliver something that isn't utterly pathetic and shameful (like it has been in the recent past). The appetite for change is strong. It can be resisted or ignored for maybe a bit longer but, without improved results, it's only going to get more intense. The club have brought this on themselves. This isn't people being impatient or negative. This is lifelong supporters setting higher standards than the club. Not settling for loser status, or buying into the 'unlucky' or 'fob off' bullsh1t. This is the fans saying they won't accept cr@p and they can't be kidded on.
Everyone can be united around our desire for 3 points and an improved performance tomorrow and onwards, but people have got eyes. The squad is an utter mess and the idea of 'building something for the future' a palpable fallacy.

We are not just fans. We are customers. No business would treat its customers like gtfc treat us. They would go out of business as the customers stop going. That's what is happening here and there is only one outcome unless the management changes its approach.

It's exactly because the club's biggest investors, the fans, want a change of manger that Fenty won't sack him. Fenty has to be seen to do it his way, we should all know that by now, its the way he is, stubborn and full of himself and immune to suggestions
Now if everyone suddenly backed Slade and said he was the greatest thing ever to grace Blundell Park and even suggested him as the new chairman he'd be out on his fat bottom by tea time

The fact that JF sacked Bignot to bring in Slade , when there was no need to, is the bit that rankles me. He won't admit he got it wrong and will stick with " Please Sir " until it's too late. If we do get relegated ( shudder the thought ) then what does JF do ? If he keeps Slade in the hope he will get us back into the league then he is expecting him to do something he has never achieved in his career ie get a club promoted. If he gets rid then he might as well get rid now and get somebody in who could handle both scenarios. Not an easy task I must admit but taking this " blind faith " and " ostrich head in the sand " approach is just alienating the fans and damaging any possible resurgence.

Well, I haven't got a clue why Bignot was sacked and even less of a clue why this muppet replaced him?

I have heard on the grapevine, through several secondary sources, that there was a major breakdown of discipline during Bignot's tenure involving off-field misbehaviour and a lack of basic professional standards required of a league club (timekeeping, organisation, bizarre training methods, poor preparation), resulting in a deputation of senior players to the board and the decision that followed.
Now we can all say "well what do you think the current situation is then?" and we may be right, but I'm afraid it looks like if MB had just had a bit of a Sergeant Major figure with him to enforce discipline and organise things, and he had have kept a tighter squad, then he may have been alright.
Anyway, it's all in the past, but I just thought more people would like to know the alleged reasoning.
Whether or not we're any more organised, disciplined or otherwise at the moment, is another matter entirely.
