There’s no proof in the public domain that Rob Scott punched anyone so I’d suggest you change that before you get sued.

Great article - and speaks for many of us
Lost opportunities, bad PR, control freakery, lack of foresight etc etc

Our board (compared to others) is being run like a Division 4 outfit from the 70s

Embarrassing and depressing - the whole matchday experience is joyless

There may be one or two anomalies with the facts in there, but I don't disagree with the majority of that.

Bottom line is that we are being run on a shoestring by a board that have proved themselves to be less progressive than several of their non-league counterparts.

I wouldn't say the root cause but I would definitely say that the board top brass have strangle hold on the clubs pearls of wisdom.

the board (trust included) must live and die by the sword and for once, when the fans/public are crying out for some solidarity and positive pr the communication is about as likely as the Fenty dome popping up on peaks parkway.

John, board and trust, if ever clear the air talks were needed, NOW is the fu(king time to do it. NOW is the time to rid the playing style that has driven hardcore town fans from supporting the club. NOW is the time to bring some positivity into the club before it is too late. Bite the bullet, admit the failings that have gone on and forge a bond with the supporters of this great club before it's too late

That would involve cash to put right but if you are looking for someone who can peel an orange in their pocket or cry out of one eye, John's your man.

The thing is.. it was an admirable gesture to plug the debts of a Championship level Football League with £2m, especially if it had been for a couple of years or so.

But to do it as a fish merchant and think £2m is enough for 16 years is beyond belief.

Either JF foolishly thought he had more ability than he clearly has or he has been very selfish in tying the club up so he could run the club in the manner he wanted as it was his personal ambition.

Either way.. as it stands tonight, by either foolish ineptitude or wanton selfishness.. all he has achieved is the creation of a shambolic version of a once proud football club.

Thinking a loan of £2m over 16 years is enough to run a Football League club on your own when you've had no previous experience and never played the game.. it's insanity..

Time for some proper soul searching in the boardroom tonight..
