John, board and trust, if ever clear the air talks were needed, NOW is the fu(king time to do it. NOW is the time to rid the playing style that has driven hardcore town fans from supporting the club. The thing is.. it was an admirable gesture to plug the debts of a Championship level Football League with £2m, especially if it had been for a couple of years or so.

But to do it as a fish merchant and think £2m is enough for 16 years is beyond belief.

Either JF foolishly thought he had more ability than he clearly has or he has been very selfish in tying the club up so he could run the club in the manner he wanted as it was his personal ambition.

Either way.. as it stands tonight, by either foolish ineptitude or wanton selfishness.. all he has achieved is the creation of a shambolic version of a once proud football club.

Thinking a loan of £2m over 16 years is enough to run a Football League club on your own when you've had no previous experience and never played the game.. it's insanity..

Time for some proper soul searching in the boardroom tonight..
