It looks like the battle for play off places is going to be very tight this season and the last three games have shown how a good run of a few games can make a massive difference.

It's amazing that after all the criticism on here, if we had won against Lincoln we'd now be 6th and only 3 points off the automatic places.

It just shows it's worth getting behind the team because there is a great opportunity for promotion, and not just via the play offs.

Next two games are massive - 3 or more points and we should go into the second half with a lot of optimism.

I dont think that anyone has a problem getting behind the team and players Its other areas at the club that most have a problem getting behind , without going in to it all again

A month ago, there was relegation talk on here. That was as premature then as talk of the play offs is now, but it's a lot more fun discussing the latter over the former.

We can help out own ifs and buts by signing a proper left back and a good centre forward in January.

We might have a chance of the play offs then. I accept we need to ship some out to allow for that though. But we need to go big on the centre forward. Perhaps, as JF said the £110k we raised wasn't used as such, we can use that money to sign quality and really go for it. Show some ambition and BPV will be one hundred percent onboard.

I'd say 4 massive games through to the end of the year not just the next 2.  While there are plenty of games to go, I reckon the rest of this month will confirm whether we are in with a shout or will be just playing out the season.

If we could take 7 points from the next 4 games then we'd be very much in with a shout of the play offs. Big ask but who knows.

I'd take six happily. I'm not one to usually accept such a poor return from Town in this division, but we'll have our work cut out at Notts County and Luton who are both very good sides. Looking forward to both games.

If Hitler hadn't invaded Poland we'd be playing Man United this Saturday!

I'm only alive because of Hitler.
If the Luftwaffe hadn't bombed south London my mum's family wouldn't have moved north, she wouldn't have met my dad and there would be one less Town fan.

Will be interesting to see what Slade does with the starting 11 this week....DJ and Jones were a little off it IMO and i fear that may see a return of Vernon and Woolford.

Off the field antics still cause grumbles but since we have reduced the hoofball element of our game, played with attacking wide men and subsequently won the last three then at least the footballing issues have reduced. Two very tough games coming up...
right now....  3 points i would take, 4 points would be pleasing...6 points would be fantastic......and given the position of the two teams and being away from home i wouldn't care how we took the points.

In the 2015/2016 season, Bristol rovers were on 33 points after 21 games (one point ahead of us currently), and went on to get automatic promotion finishing on 85 points. Just saying

I think Matt and Jones are the most potent duo and in Dembele and D.J. you have nippy skillful players.

That is enough pace and power up front to give any team in this division a run for there money.

Midfield is good and defensively we have handled things quite well of late don't really see the need to change this winning side.

Mansfield were probably even worse off at this point in the season they went up.
