If they haven't got the mental strength to read one fan's comments without it affecting their motivation they aren't strong enough for the challenges ahead. Do people really think our players are such wusses?

Jeez!

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I agree with the ones that say leave it to the end of the season,

After all Hannah might score a hat trick at Wembley,

Would you then say goodbye ?

Yes. You can't keep a player on sentiment. He's not good enough for a side chasing promotion in this league, he definitely wouldn't be good enough in L2.

No, because we cant tie a defender to their goal post to stop him being offside.

Maybe not but even without doing so, he misses too many sitters and doesn't offer any aerial ability, hold up play, pace or link up play. If he isn't banging goals in (and he hasn't for over two years) then he offers precious little. Plus he's always offside.

We'll probably finish third and since the latest players were added we must be at least second if not first in the form table. This side would challenge for the title next year if we don't go up (even more so if Bristol Rover do) and probably hold its own in League 2. Is there really a need for such wholescale changes?

Maybe not. A young left back as cover for Robertson, a new striker with pace as I still think we lack that, another winger and a centre mid with a bit of guile. One of these would hopefully be a decent set piece taker. Then I think we'd have a really good team.
