Well got a close look at it yesterday and it looked pretty good was talking to the guy who was marketing it he said because the seat takes up more width as standing when the standing option is used it is possible to double the capacity and he showed how this would work.

Now this raises several questions to mind would you be allowed to do it, what would the pricing be compared to sitting a and who would decides all this.

I also asked him our expensive they were to fit he said about double the price of normal plastic seats but they last longer. Obviously sponsorship could take care of that.

Don't know how long we have at Blundell Park but they could probably be moved if required .

Told us £80/£90 per seat and frame then fitting on top of that. I was concerned that you would not be able to see over the bar in front but that was soon quashed when I sat in the seat, even a smaller gent was happy enough and did not get a restricted view.

Lots of new grounds on the continent have safe standing, it works, research and evidence says so and in theory it makes the cost a ticket cheap...or is that the reason why the FA/clubs don't want it, especially at the top level...

They're quite happy ripping off fans.

Is it worth putting it in BP? Not if we are wanting to move in 5 years, that said we all know we'll still be at BP in 10 years so I'd stick it in the pontoon and lower findus...

But you have another problem then, not everybody wants to stand. I don't.

so I assume it would have to be everybody sits or everybody stands.  If you can get double the number in standing will you be shouted and and then evicted for sitting???

Thought the idea was to do just a section of the Pontoon, eg top right hand corner. Don't want them messing with the lower Findus.

the seats are metal & even yesterday they felt cold. In the winter I suggest that you bring something to put over them, otherwise it's not going to do your piles any good!!

Just one question, who & why will it be standing or seating? What will be the criteria?
