Great result tonight sounds like the two new lads had a good debut and Ollie Palmer is fast becoming a GTFC favorite plus the telewag offers so I would hope this will put at least another 500 on the gate. Might as well let us have the Osmond away end to create a great atmosphere.

Ollie:  We need a talisman/cult hero to get the fans going and to identify with him.  He is the 90 min all action man that Town fans love.

The away fans have been magnificent this season it's time the home fans made some real noise and roared them over the finish line,

Interest is rising. There have been a peak of nearly 600 people on the Fishy for the last two midweek games.

Not much point. Rather pack the other 3 sides for now. Although a designated area for the more vocal fans in the corner of the Osmond would be great. There is a lot of positivity around the place at the moment and it wouldn't surprise me to see us hit 3800-4000. I hope the club advertise the offers a bit more and offer some competitions to try and persuade people to share the information about Saturday and also remind the fans to bring the flags again for the pontoon. Does anyone know if they are still selling them in there?

Left side of the pontoon's formed a group, so the pontoon should be rocking again. Especially after tonight's victory.

Bring on the Telford!

We need to make sure we don't get caught out early on Saturday.

In Telfords last away game at Wrexham they were 2-0 up after 8 minutes so I reckon they'll be at us straight from the off. We need to get an early goal and then I reckon we could go on to win comfortably.

I was in the lower last game but I am moving back to my homeland on Saturday. There seems to be a lot of interest about the idea and I really hope every 15- 18 year old in the area knows that it is £5 for fans in the pontoon on Saturday. Would be good to see the entire section full.

Town should have a temporary ticket office at the College, selling match day for the remaining home fixtures to students for a fiver.

Two things about Telford:

1. They're bottom of the table, we're at home... we know how we struggle in this situation
2. Having scored 41, they're clearly no mugs in front of goal

But I think point 2 could actually work in our favour. If they're a 'free-scoring' bottom of the league side, it's likely that they'll have a go and not park the bus, which may help us.

We would have got about 3,400,

With the new signings + 400

With the offers   + 400

Winning our last 2 games and starting to create a gap behind us  + 200

So we should have 4,400

Don't ask me why I said 4,900 on the prediction thread

It'll be around 3900
If we beat them and beat Dover away I reckon there might be 6000 there for the Bristol game though

No

Just a suggestion to help increase the gates for the remaining fixtures.  We need to pack out Blundell Park, The atmosphere at the Barnet game was the best for a long while, players could hear the noise before coming.  which inspired them to preform on the pitch.

So bring anyone along
Lets show the rest of the league that us fans are up for it as well as the player's.
Flags waving, drum beating, Pontoon Findus and the Main singing.
Lets make some noise for the boys
We are the twelve man

Just shy of 4,000. I don't believe we'll see 5,000 before the end of the season unless it's a game that'll take us top or we're top and it's to win the league.

The Bristol Rovers game will be 5,000 or even 6,000.

Unless we blow it before then.

According to some at Bristol they aren't happy about it being made all ticket for their fans and is already putting some off.

Is 1097 the Findus side or the Main corner of the Osmond?

Is there a plan in the pipeline to put Town fans in that end to try and generate some GTFC backing in the Osmond I suppose is more my question?

Further to the above: We should be doing everything we can as a club and as supporters in general to be packing the park properly for the Bristol Rovers game.

We are still in with a shot at the title and whilst we've not played the best in front of a big crowd in recent years it can't be a bad thing psychologically FOR us and AGAINST one of our title rivals to fill the park and back the team in terms of numbers and decibels.

I appreciate that they are as well as if not better supported gate-wise than we are but it'd be nice to remind them that there are other "big fish" in this division and we are battling up there to get out with/against them.

We're still a couple of weeks away from it so there is still time for everyone to make plans to be there.

Very optimistic considering, Lincoln game aside (local derby, christmas time), we haven't had above 4,000 - we're only just breaching 3,500 after a string of good results.

Assuming Brizzle bring 500 and other teams have brought about nothing (most pretty much have), it's a big ask to find an extra 1,000 even 2,000 fans out there.

They're looking at the table and seeing we're 9 points off the top.
They're seeing/hearing the manager get slagged off for most of the season.
The majority of big games for town these days are just not appealing to the non-regulars at £18 a game, no matter how many feral kids they can bring free.

Just because we're on a run doesn't mean everyone's suddenly coming back. We won 3 games in a row in December then look what happened...

Let's not get excited too quickly. One loss now mak's top spot look a very distant dream, it also makes the playoffs look much less certain given the extra game(s) we've played.

Must be the Findus side - I recall the corner only holding around 600.

I have no idea why they have made it all ticket for them, they are never going to sell out,

I am a fat bloke but I did not go to Bristol so it was not me.

I'm sure I read that Bristol Rovers are asking for their away games to be all-ticket now after their eecent trip to Woking (i think) where they took loads of fans and 300 were locked out because  the away end was full.

Agree.

Not sure I totally understand the Gasheads suggestion that it will knock 3/400 off their attendance. Yes there will be a few who decide on the day if it is pay on the gate but 3/400??
