Grimsby Town and Barnet are keeping tabs on John Rooney (brother of Wayne) who is currently playing for Chester in the Vanarama Conference. Barnet are particularly interested due to the interest from several leagues sides for their top scorer John Akinde.

Well akinde is a striker and Rooney is a midfielder, so wouldn't know how that will work,

Would have him here in a shot

He's crap. That's the reason he is where he is.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Seen him a few times, got a decent set piece on him but that's about it. Usually plays in the number 10 role so unless we played him off LJL I can't see it. He's certainly not the striker we need to fire us out of this league imo.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"
