Grimsby Town and Barnet are keeping tabs on John Rooney (brother of Wayne) who is currently playing for Chester in the Vanarama Conference. Barnet are particularly interested due to the interest from several leagues sides for their top scorer John Akinde.

Well akinde is a striker and Rooney is a midfielder, so wouldn't know how that will work,

Would have him here in a shot  :)

Unless he can cover across the defence Hurst wont be interested

Seen him a few times, got a decent set piece on him but that's about it. Usually plays in the number 10 role so unless we played him off LJL I can't see it. He's certainly not the striker we need to fire us out of this league imo.
