Mine has to be Stuart Pearce when he scored that penalty against Spain in Euro 96

The dictionary definition of "going mental".

Like Alan Sunderland in the '79 Cup Final and Marco Tardelli in the '82 World Cup.

But..... I think they are Finnish, one team takes celebrations to a new level. If someone would be so kind to put them on here

I loathe the celebrations that have obviously been choreographed and practiced or the poser Daniel Sturridge sort of thing. Give me a bit of raw emotion and joy anyday. That's why I like Tardelli and Sunderland. Also just thought of Troy Deeney for Watford in the play off Semi against Leicester when they broke from the penalty save in the last minute.

Raw emotion? What about Ketsbia kicking the advertising hoardings at Newcastle?

Gazza v Scotland in euro 96

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

You beat me to it Rodley.

Also loved Pearce's celebration. I was there that day as I was a few days earlier when Gazza scored that infamous goal against Scotland. I didn't really see any of his "dentist chair" celebration at the time as we were too busy going mental.

I think it was 6 years frustration that had built up in Pearce after he missed that penalty in the 1990 World Cup Semi-Final against Germany.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”
