Seen him once at Wimbledon (v Scunny last season) and he seemed to be one of the driving forces which saw the Dons come back from 2-0 down. Lad thinks he'll be a good signing for us.
Through the door there came familiar laughter, I saw your face and heard you call my name. Oh my friend we're older but no wiser, For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
Well according to that this season he has only made 5 league sub appearances and started once in the Paint Pot and got sent off. Hope he's better than that reads.
“I think I'm goin' back To the things I learned so well in my youth I think I'm returning to Those days when I was young enough to know the truth."
Dartford's team was quite big, ie most 6 footers, weren't they last season, so anther tall strong player who is protecting the back four should be an excellent asset!
Looks on paper at least to be a good grab, let's hope he has as much impact as Parslow did.
Does anyone else just keep a casual eye on previous loaness to see if they stay in their first teams or go back to being bench warmers ?
