GONE IN A WEEK

In seven short days we have managed to undo seven months of hard work.
We have come up short against three teams who we really should be beating. The second best attendance again this season with more than 800 going to Mansfield and Dartford. Support these layabouts really don't deserve sometimes.
It's galling to think where this club was 10/15 years ago and how today we accept defeats to the minnows like Braintree as just a blip.
We need a catalyst and the Tin Pot trophy next Saturday is not it. Scott & Hurst must take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror tomorrow morning and tell themselves "we must not blow this" otherwise there will be some who fear they will always be non league managers and not much more. Town fans have been patient long enough with a bellyfull of shite over the last decade. We won't take any more.UTM

You are employed and paid by a club that aspires to be promoted to the football league. Now f**king man up and prove you are good enough to be part of that or some of you will find yourselves struggling to stay full time this summer.

But were not playing 10/15 yrs ago are we. The sooner people like you accept were a non league football club the better. S&h have taken this club forward no end, so why need to look in the mirror at themselves. I'm as disappointed as anyone at the position we find ourselves in but I've accepted it, and maybe that's the difference between a lot of the fans. UTM

Very frustrated today. We werent at the races but still could/should have got at least a point. We didnt because there were too many flat performances.

What i dont acccept is that these players are 'layabouts'. All season i and many others have travelled the country and for the vast majority of games I have said that for the first time in many years we have a team who give their all for the shirt. We no longer have a string of journeymen who couldnt give a shite. These guys do and have demonstrated it throughout the season.

Jumping on their back now isnt going to help things. Probably the automatic promotion position has gone but if we stick together we will be in the play offs. Then we have as much chance as any of the others. Possibly by then we will have our first choice central midfield refreshed and firing and even a match fit Liam Hearn?

Equally we might not make it but there isnt half been some balderdash posted on here tonight!

Here here don't know who solster is but with posts like this he ain't a true fan. What's more shocking is the amount of posts on here slating s&h these seem to be the same people who were worried they was off to Doncaster etc

I find your avatar about staying calm more than a bit ironic matey

Not one for making excuses but we have been hit with injuries at just the wrong time and though this Season we have a better squad in terms of quality we just dont have the numbers to cope thats life but I wont give up hoping til it`s mathematically impossible.
