Richard Money yesterday described Kidderminster as 'the best team I have seen at this level.' ... and we played Cambridge very recently! Alan Buckley thinks the same! Mansfield have scored 13 goals in their last 2 matches! It ain't over till it's over!!

Indeed its not over. But we haven't got out of first gear yet! We've been playing bad since Lincoln away but keep winning. Do we even have a second gear? We are so solid if we score a goal we are odds on to win and with the forward line we have we should be scoring every game.
Don't forget though we was tagged with this line last season to some degree after playing Cambridge how did we finish.

Over the last 8 games, Grimsby have taken 18 points, exactly the same as both Kidderminster and Mansfield. They've made ground on everyone except us. They'll be more worried that they're in such great form and yet haven't closed the gap on us points-wise.

I think this current Town team has only stepped up a gear in the games against Luton and Wrexham, everyone else and we just seem to tick along. We are a team who grinds results out and that frustrates teams. We are top by 3 points and our gates are creeping up, I get the impression we are pacing ourselves and other teams will burn themselves out trying to keep up.

Teams that wish to play 'gung ho' against us will probably suffer as we witnessed with Luton. Kidderminster, Mansfield, Wrexham etc will have to play with caution in mind when playing the likes of us. We can defend as well as score! UTM!

Who cares. We are top, they're doing well but are still behind us and even are if they win their games in hand. They are reliant on us and Wrexham flipping up and in honesty Wrexham seem to do what we do, tick along nicely, take three points and turn it up a notch when they play better sides.
Yes Mansfield have scored 15 goals or whatever in two games but they've only got 6 points like we have in the last two games.
We knew kiddy would be up there and that their early form was a blip but any slight dip now will see their season end like ours did last year.

Agree with the other posts, all we have to do is tick away and keep winning, we are a hard team to break down and have a very good strikeforce, they will be more worried about us, we are 8 points clear of 3rd, I know mansfield have 3 games in hand but they have to win all 3 to keep up, give me points on the board anyday, by tuesday we could be 6 points clear of 2nd place. Let's think about what we are doing.

Another point is that who ever is top the opposition will do their best and will be more cautious so it can often be difficult leading the pack.
I still say that after Easter there will only be two teams who could win it.

I'm a little bit worried about Mansfield. However, I would be a great deal more worried if these things weren't being discussed, and if we thought we could just cruise along and it was going to be easy. There is nothing more dangerous than complacency.
