In New Zealand for the time being, haven't listened to a game here yet but decided with this big occasion, I should give it a try. I've tried the BBC humberside website but it isn't working at all for me and the few apps I've downloaded give terrible reception. What's the best thing to use for anyone else stuck on the other side of the world?

The BBC directly over the internet should be work fine for the league games as the licensing restrictions don't apply.

I have no issues listening in Brisbane.

Agree. .   works everywhere!

Trying to listen via a phone might be an issue as i think it requires different 'back end' stuff.

Would also think streaming via a mobile it would use a bit of your data plan and could be pricey so be careful.

You might be better off trying on a computer, all BBC's regional radio internet players require flash.  If your only option is a phone then you can try downloading the Tune-In Radio app from app store/android marketplace depending on your phone.

There is a cutting edge technology available known as broadband wifi. Literally dozens of households have these in the UK (even Wales apparently)

Connect your phone download radio app and listen to tondeur

If you cant listen to BBC Radio Humberside using your usual IP try Google and theres plenty of stuff you can use to spoof another IP so you can listen to the radio coverage with no problem from where in the world you are !!

Ill try these thanks! I'm on hostel Internet which is unusually good considering some of the excrement I've had so I'm not worried about data. Had five live going earlier on an app, and humberside will work but it's just dreadful quality, even though other local humberside radio stations are crystal clear!

Sound is pretty poor for me in FNQ too (BBC iPlayer) - poor but listenable.

We're good again. For the record we (Mrs Cairns Mariner and I) are sat outside (11pm) in little more than undies (it's still nearly 30C) with plenty of good wine and beer nuts and Town on the radio.
Up The Mariners (sounds a bit spicey up there).
