Spare a thought for poor Michael Coulson - now at York City after leaving Town at the end of last season. After a great start to the season, on Saturday at Southend he suffered another serious knee injury and is awaiting results of a scan to see if he's ruptured his cruciate ligament for the third time in his career (he's only 24). Coulson has definitely sustained cartiledge and medial ligament damage so will need an operation and will be out for some time anyway, but if his cruciate is damaged he'll be out for the season at least. This could in fact end his career. As if it wasn't hard enough, Coulson had previously ruptured both of his cruciate ligaments in one year whilst at Barnsley and the injury usually means at least 6 - 9 months out. Speaking as someone who's suffered a very similar compound knee injury he'll be in for a tough time (Some 2 and a half years later my knee is not fully recovered, even after 3 operations). Such bad luck to have suffered this injury so many times in a short career. Fingers crossed that his ACL is intact and best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

Sad always had respect for him.
Suppose at the very least he's on a 2 year contract.
Hopefully he can recover before it's up, would feel for him if his career was over.
