I think a team from the City of Liverpool will win or draw.

I hope Everton win because I would love to see Liverpool relegated, the whining would be legendary.

I have never seen a thread talking about a premiership teams game. If you would like to talk about Liverpool then follow this link http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/. And dont bother coming on here wanting attention and wanting people to feel sorry for you.

Could be the closest Merseyside derby for years.
I think Everton will just edge it but you never know.

Exactly, the thread title gives it away!

I want Everton to win but wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool get something out of it. I'd also like to see Suarez clattered and get booked for diving.

I'm with you Aaron and really hoping for a Liverpool win. Too late for me to try and watch/listen but looking forward to waking up tomorrow to news of a red win (i predict a nervy 1-0 after countless wasted chances).

There's a crooked street in Grimsby Town
It's a well worn path I've travelled down
Now there's ruin in my name, I wish i'd never got off the train
And I wish I'd listened to the words you said....
...Don't go down to Freeman Street
Don't go down to Freeman Street
You'll be lost and never found
You can never turn around
Don't go down to Freeman Street

Against a poor Liverpool team, this could be a glorious day in Everton's recent history. 3-1 (Jelavic 2, Osman, Gerrard) and Suarez sent off for a slap.

Chelski 2-2 Manure (Torres, Mata, Van Persie 2)

Slightly ironic, given the fact you are telling people who want to discuss something they need to do it elsewhere, don't ya think... My opinion is that people can post what they want - within reason... Hence why I pointed this out to you...

Anyway back on topic, of course, if that's OK with you???

Neither really, brother is a red and he'd got me a ticket but I sold it because I didn't want to have to stay over night in a Premier Inn.

Wasn't so much the fact I'd be staying there, more that I'd have to get up really early to get a train to Leicester for my 9am lecture.

I watched the game today and actually really enjoyed it. Glad the old scousers had that goal ruled out at the end though... It 100% wasnt offside but maybe a foul? If it was given for offisde, karma mr. Suarez

Yeah, I thought it was disallowed for offside (but wasn't), but Coates was all over the Everton player when he knocked it down anyway.

Town fans who think watching any football that's not Blue Square means you're some sort of plastic football supporter. Surely not only watching your main team but also having an interest in the greater footballing world would make you the opposite? I watched a few La Liga games today, doesn't mean i'm some sort of Getafe plastic armchair glory supporter

I think it was more the point Aaron has made it quite known he's an avid liverpool  fan....he wears his liverpool top for town matches. Don't get me wrong its up to him but Imo I think It's wrong.

Last time I looked I am sure this was a Grimsby Town forum and not a place where glory hunters can talk about the premiershite?

The two games yesterday weren't a patch on Dartford vs Mansfield on Friday.

So? Quite a few people have second teams and the like, it's the way with a lot of people nowadays. Aaron turns up to matches and supports the club. A lot more who like teams like Liverpool might if they didn't have a bunch of pretentious snobs telling them they're not allowed to support the club unless they obsequiously do what a select few fans tell them to do. Mate of mine won't miss a Chelsea game on sky tv (which obviously don't clash with town games) but has had a town season ticket for most of his life and is a big town fan. We operate in a different sphere to the Premier League, so people like Aaron supporting a second team has no bearing as long as we don't start telling them we're the holy ghost for only having one.

I only wear my Liverpool top to a few games, it doesn't matterwhati wear aslong as i go and pump money into the squad in which i do by purchasing season tickets and match tickets for cup games and buying shirts etc so i can wear what i like because i still pump hundreds and hundreds of pounds per season into the club

i am a season ticket holder and i always will be one

Good post. Improved beyond measure by being the first post I can remember on here to use the word obsequiously.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.
