Am I the only person on the planet that thinks Roger Moore excretes on Connery from a height when it comes to playing Bond?

Like a barrel of Tetley's,
Like a packet of Woodbine,
Like a good pinch of snuff,
Like a night out in Cleethorpes,
Like a greasy chip butty,

Have yet to see Daniel Craig as Bond yet. Would love to see Idris Elba as the next one though.

Yes, Englishmen don't poo on Scotsmen, it's the other way round. It's called culture up here

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.

I wonder what Fleming would make of the way his incarnation has changed. Both Connery and Moore stuck fairly closely to the way Fleming portrayed Bond in his books. I haven't seen any of the last four films all the way through-too much like any of the all action movies you could see (from the bits I have seen)-no subtlety and painfully short of that fusion between action and humour that made Connery and Moore so watchable..

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.
