can't be that easy les - if it was then anyone with half a brain cell could've organised  a gtfc fans trip in the blink of an eye

I gave up trying to organise various stuff a long time ago Forza after being badly let down on a couple of occasions.

I'll probably try and pop over for a game sometime next year but will just sort it all out for myself.

We rent a mini-van for 10 lads. We take the long way to Cleethorpes.

Starting from Aalst:

Drive to Zeebrugge: 1 h drive

Then with the mini-van on the boat to Hull (about 14 hours on the boat)

Then a 1 hour drive from Hull to Cleethorpes

(its quite cheap and we always have tons of fun at night on the boat)

We leave on Friday-night and are back in Aalst Sunday-evening, we always have a great night out @ cleethorpes beach

Hmmm. £60 return from St.Pancras to Brussells, which includes onward travel to any other train station in Belgium. Could well be worth a look early next year.

Hence why I haven't organised it, you get people wanting to go then deciding not to go, if you want to organise it and fund the trip should people drop out then please be my guest

Let me know which game you want to go to and I will travel on the Eurostar, went on Ferry once and did not enjoy the Force 8 winds, especially after an all you can eat buffet

I've been to Aalst: but never to the football.

It has a lot of fine bars and is a friendly place, I hope to get to a game one day.

A beer mate of mine runs trips to Belgium and often bases his hotel in Aalst because of its location: http://www.podgebeer.co.uk/

I see they are running a tour based in Aalst in April which co-incidently happens to be when Aalst last home game of the season is.

Unfortunately is also our last game of the season at home to Newport and hopefully there will be something riding on that game so there's no way that trip would be viable.

Here are the fixtureshttp://www.eendracht-aalst.be/seizoen/wedstrijden/competitie

Aalst usually play on a Sunday. Typical though when we play Ebbsfleet they are away and kick off at 8pm

It is the same when we play Braintree.

When Town are away at Woking, The Onions (Eendracht Aalst play away at St Niklaas on the Sunday)

I am tempted to go to the      Eendracht Aalst - R. Antwerp FC 16-12-2012  15:00, looks like we have a cup weekend, so hopefully that will be on a Saturday, near London would be ideal
