Belgium has so much more to offer in the beer stakes than mass produced lagers!

Yeah as I remember Trappist and Kwak are quite palatable and potent brews

Indeed, there are better beers to taste in Belgium than Stella. My personal favorite is Orval

We won a thrilling match yesterday 3-2, very glad with these 3 points, next 2 matches are against the teams that relegated from 1st class last season, so very difficult. Since last season we have 11 new players and it takes time to ge the team on track. But yesterday they showed a big fighting spirit.

I have some bottles of Orval that I'm ageing at the moment: do you prefer young, fresh Orval or do you like aged ones? I come over to belgium three or four times a year: mostly to beer festivals, already booked for two more this year (Diest in October and Essen in December).

Definitely the aged one, a bit more expensive but sooooooooo good. Last year I drank one of 10 years old, it was like beer-champagne costed me 20€ but it was all worth it

The new players could sing our "ajoinen"-song for the first time in front of the kop. Starting at 7min.40

And then they danced the sirtaki with our new Greek striker

Atmosphere was great, now Sunday full house for the topmatch against St Truiden

Aalst are one of friendliest clubs I have visited. In my groundhopping. Aalst2-5 Mouscron!

I get over 2 or 3 times a year to Belgium. RWDM is who I follow, re-born two months ago!
