My mrs gets paid 23k mate and is a fab nurse and yet they save lives compare that to a greedy footballer there's no comparison.  Maybe a Russian nhs owner will work wonders lol

You could say the same about film stars, F1 drivers, bankers, lawyers etc.

That I'm not disputing mate, and like you say, no comparison.

It's like comparing how much money Usain Bolt earns from running for 9.8 seconds in Ostrava with a young private spending months in Afghanistan. No comparison.

F1 is a bit different if they want to risk their lives for mad money that's up to them, Lawyers only think about themselves I've been on the end to some urine poor representation lol, Yeah film stars are just as bad.......Jee I've just read this back and I sound like my dad omg I'm getting old haha

I tend to agree. I always thought van Persie was more ambitious but hey there you go. Maybe it's because he's been at Arsenal for so long; when you've been at a club that hasn't won anything for years you become naturally attracted to clubs that haven't won anything for a while.

£24m for a 30-year old injury prone player with one good season under his belt, plus £46m in wages over 4 years, doesn't seem that good a deal. City have dodged a bullet.
