only 1500 home fans for a match to benefit the youth system, that just happened to be a local derby v a championship side.

Club error mate im afraid as if many people were gonna pay £12 to see a friendly. A family of 4 would of cost £35+ so ridiculous pricing structure as is towns friendlys every year. Friendlys should be £5 max adults £2 max kids etc they will learn 1 yr!!

Completely agree with that Mr Viv.
At the lower prices, we could have broken the 5000 barrier easily.

The ground entry costs are just one element.  There are all the "add-on" costs that you incur with a match.  A main one being car and petrol costs for fans who live away. In these financially-strapped times, people are going to far more selective in games they attend.   Strongly agree that the tickets costs should have been reduced.

Even at a fiver it wouldn't have been much more. It is only a friendly, people are on holiday, some just don't care about friendlies and people that live out of town aren't going to travel and bust a gut to go to meaningless game.

We really do have an obsession with attendances on here.

Those that did go, like me enjoyed the game I payed a tenner with the telegraph voucher and thought it was value for money and considering it was for the young uns I would pay that again no problem. Some people just like a moan and to be fair if you don't want to pay then don't go simple.
