After "easy" friendlies last season we lost at home to Donney (and Barnsley).  We seem to be following the same approach this season regarding playing weaker and then much stronger teams.


The bosses said in todays telegraph they like it that way, when playing the better teams they learn how we cope when we don't have the ball and have to defend lots. You don't learn that playing against weaker opposition in friendlies.

As pointed out results don't mean anything in friendlies.

G Pearson the only one I can think off, but somebody mentioned he wasn't there, prehpas hes picked up a knock in training?
