Probably because S&H know he doesn't do it week in / week out

Having said that if he performed that way every game he'd be leaving too....going to some other outfit much higher up the pyramid instead of a sideways move which imho is all he'll get if / when he finally leaves us

Didn't eagle win the goal o fthe season for last year? If coulo wins it this year does that mean its the kiss of death and signals the end of your gtfc career?!

As Eagle played for us the season after he won it may blow a small hole in your theory.
Disregarding the fact Eagle was released for off the field antics may also blow another hole in your theory.
