I'm with you Les, shouldn't be allowed.

No it shouldn't be allowed and I hope they get knocked out by an English non league club, even if that non league club is Lincoln.

It's quite an interesting story when you look a little deeper. According to a Wrexham fan I know TNS make Crawley seem like a friendly club with morals and are on a par with MK Dons.

Llansantffraidd was the name of the the first club Mike Harris, their owner, killed to make his TNS Franchise. But TNS Franchise outgrew their village team hosts and went to look for a fresh victim, which came in the form of Oswestry Town. Since killing off them, Mike Harris tried to move his franchise to the Deva Stadium when Chester City were in their death throes and to Wrexham when they were in difficulty. Horrible guy, horrible club according to him!

This reminds me of one of Jeff Stelling's immortal lines

"They'll be dancing in the streets of total network solutions tonight"

And no I don't think it should be allowed

I am struggling to think of anything I care less about than whether TNS are in the FA Cup.

Weren't they in Europe a few seasons ago?  Quite a way to fall, Man City (I think they played) to teams like Ashington in the FA Trophy.

NO it shouldn't be allowed.  It's effectively the same as Lyon entering the FA Cup.

I don't get why teams like Swansea, Cardiff and Wrexham are in Enlgish leagues either?

Nail on head comment for me, they are not English therefore they shouldn't be in our league or cup competitions.

I may be wrong but I think it was TNS who played Liverpool in the Qualifyers for The Champions League. It was the first season that the winners of The Champions League the season before didn't qualify automatically for the Group Stages and Liverpool had to enter the qualifying rounds.

I think there was some talk at the time that Liverpool wouldn't be allowed in The Champions League but in the end UEFA let them enter the qualifying rounds.

The problem is that the FA have already set a precedent by allowing teams like Newport County and Merthyr to take part in the FA Cup and FA Trophy.

An astute old man told me once that just because something was always allowed or done in a certain way doesn't make it right.  Just needs someone with gonads to make it right
