Seems we're on the topic, Mansfield have recently renamed Field Mill the 'One Call Stadium'.

Geez, isn't it bad enough other clubs have had their soul and identity bulldozed over by corporate sponsorship ?
Sod the money, the long term solution to financial diffculties isn't always "cut cut cut".
Or if it is, what happens after when the well is bare and every fundrasing idea has been visited ?
The simplest solution isn't always the best one - let's keep our dignity (at least for now) and focus on a stronger club please.

If I won half a billion like on that yankie lottery, I'd award the 1st 4000 people through the turnstiles £10,000 cash each and then bulldoze the ground to the floor.
Imagine that, a hassle-free existence without the stress, worry and continual disappointment of regular failure.
However, I wouldn't forget the fans, there would be a competition to name the remaining slag heap after the winning loyal fan.

According to their commercial brochure, GTFC are in fact looking for a partner for naming rights/sponsorship of the ground, but looking for a long term partnership for at least 5 years.

Does anyone think, considering the Findus stand is the only area that has attracted any sponsorship as far as I am aware, that the reamainder of the ground is not particularly desrirable to sponsors???

Who would sponsor the main stand? Cuprinol  What about the pontoon? Hammerite???  the place is a dump and I can't see many sponsors wanting to be associated with it.

I have just stepped in a dog-turd on Grimsby road, is anyone interested in the naming rights???
