Not meaning this to be a negative thread, but whenever I watch Town I always get the feeling that there is just something missing from our game. Even during our unbeaten run. However I just can't put my finger on what it is... Does anyone agree? Disagree? Or know what it is?

it is called "that little bit of extra quality that york wrexham fleetwood already have,you know the player who always looks to have more time on the ball and picks that pass..

but listen if we finish 7th or 8th this season that is an improvement on last year so next year with a few additions with that "quality" we mean and keep the hearns eldings and some more we will be that team who every one will be talking about.

could it be the bottle tops,or something to do with the catering,or infact which way we,re allowed to leave the ground at fulltime?

Personally what i think they are missing is a sitting midfielder, who does all the ugly stuff get tackles in and protects the back four and allows the rest of the midfield to play around him. Bit of a hard man

Missing a tough stopper in the middle for sure. Three matches on a trot where the opposition have constantly won the ball in their own area before sweeping upfield and having a pop at goal within seconds of winning the ball. Fair enough you might expect this from Fleetwood and York but Forest Green looked just as good at doing it.

Pace. Simples. Watching how they always seemed to be in space, have time to pick a pass to a player either n the move or in space already while whenever we had the ball we were ponderous and pressured all the time. Pace is now the key factor in pretty much all levels of football. We lack it.
