Hopefully you will have raised enough cash to get out of admin before the conference deadline, otherwise it's down two leagues. I read somewhere home attendance was only 1900 with 200 away fans. Is that enough to make anything out of a home game or is it a loss maker? No home game now til march 17? Relegation ain't a certainty there are a couple of teams fighting to avoid the last two places down, Lincoln being one of them so could be interesting if they bottle it again!

The next home game is on the 13th against Luton Town. I think that it was a loss maker because the administrator said that crowds of 1,900 is not sustainable. The crowd was 2,202 with 378 from Stockport. So 1,824 Darlington fans. The bottom line is that we are nailed on for relegation because we cannot score. Our top scorer is a midfielder and he takes penalties. We are fecked.

Moves are underway by Darlington1883 to take Darlington out of administration in a month.
Like I said before, the first £250,000 will pay off the football creditors. The second £250,000 will pay off the non-football creditors, although we can agree a CVA. The money raised after that will give us a war chest for next season.
We have raised over £300,000 with 6 weeks remaining.

Does that mean you are currently £200k short of paying off your debts? Excuse my ignorance but do you have to pay them off before you can continue in business? How are the players/staff to be paid, or do they have to wait until the debts are repaid before wages start to be met? Based on what you say, and my ignorance, i cannot see you having much of a war chest?

Possibly, but we can agree a CVA with the non football creditors so we will not need the second £250,000 just yet. Under the CVA agreement, we will have three years to pay off the non football creditors. These will be paid in full or a settlement between the two parties. In order to come out of administration we need to... 1) Pay the football creditors. (£250,000) (Completed) 2) Pay the non football creditors or agree a CVA which will be sent off to the Conference immediately. The money which the players are owed will be paid under the football creditors. Currently, the players are being paid 75% of their wages and will do so for aslong as the administrator is here. If we raise the extra £250,000 then it will be a war chest. That isn't taking into account the season tickets or the projected ticket income.

What about the Administrators costs they must be quite a sum by now. Will these costs eat into any funds raised for next season? In a month you will be able to get loan players in of a standard that could help any relegation fight. I don't think they should be free loans however as that distorts the real operating costs and other teams in the relegation zone may complain. ?
