Don't agree with that at all. Part of the Premier League's attraction at the end of the season is 'Survival Sunday'; a bottom 13 with nothing whatsoever to play for for months on end would kill a lot of interest.

I also doubt he'd want Wigan stuck in the top flight for eternity.


That's more or less what has happened with the Rugby League and their "Super League"...no relegation but instead they have nearly everyone involved in the end of season play-offs. Doesn't make any sense to me at all...

Yeah, makes a mockery of the league season if you can finish in the bottom half and win the thing!
