Target 5000 launched by the club for the remaining home games. Should be very acheivable imo

Great news - a realistic target if we continue in this vein of form.

Love this, Large crowds at Blundell Park for the remainder of the season has got be intimidating for opposition clubs at this level.

Just hope when we do pack the park we all make some noise and get behind the boys. Lets get Blundell Park rocking

Remaining home games

York
Braintree
Tamworth
Forest Green
Kidderminster
Gateshead
Southport

Out of those only York will need the whole away end. Lets get Town fans in the Osmond. Or maybe give free tickets out to schools and fill it with the next generation of fans.

The aim would be using the Osmond to create noise from all four sides.

It was clear to hear the effect of having three stand singing against Lincoln and Bath, and if one stand the chant soon spread.

Yes we do need to fill the rest of the Ground but having a stand where noise can easily be made and retained could really help.

Also having passionate fans behind both goals cold also make smaller teams more nervous.

its good having Pack the park near the end of the season. Why doesnt it get run for the whole thing to encourage bigger gates throughout to create a fantastic atmosphere at EVERY home game.

I think everyone who can should download a couple of posters and put them anywhere you can, shops, chippys, post offices, at work, bedroom window. Let's get them everywhere!!! UTM

I've got one downloaded and I'm going to print off a few copies and stick up around the university where I work. Just because I can really.

Which game is that picture from? Is it Lincoln at home? It's really bugging me. Great picture though - a full stand and pure joy on everyones faces. A great reminder of what it was like before the rubbish we've endured prior to this run.

Great news definately would like to see some inniatives and new ideas for the remaining home games this season -

- The away end needs to be used , imo a great idea would be giving out tickets(1000+) to schools within the catchment area (including caistor, louth,Immingham ,Brigg,Market rasen etc ) not just a token 100 tickets tucked away in the corner of the main stand
- Bus ticket duscount in association with stagecoach for these spectators ( i am sure we did this a few years ago , seemed a decent idea)
- discounted matchday ticket  for purchasing a town shirt or spending some money in the club shop
- Within the next two months a voucher sent out to current season ticket holders with a discount voucher ( retaining season ticket holders and keeping them happy must be a key issue)
- A player from the 1998 promotion season as half time guest
-Better /varied half time entertainment
-Get the players actively promoting the "pack the park" campaign
- steward/staff handing out sweets to kids before the game and at half time ( possibly sponsored by local sweet shop/supermarket chain)

Good on the club, though stuff like this shouldn't be done just for special occasions/run-ins. The club should also look at town centre billboards too if possible, particularly in pre-season. Lincoln had a massive one (not sure if they still do) at the bus station showing fixtures, which hundreds must have seen every day.

On a slightly pedantic downer, where's the bloody apostrophe? Almost as bad as 'Where you there?'. *shudder*

Another win tonight should hopefully get a few more town fans through the gate on saturday. Went to the York away game and thought at the time they were the best side in the conference, but the way town are playing i think we will beat them. Going to be a cracking game. Come on guy and gals get to Blundell Park and snap up your tickets.

Completely agree with this. Giving seats to schools, youth club groups etc. would encourage a new generation of supporters. Often young people have very little or no disposable income, and as a result are priced out of match days (£12 every Saturday is a lot of money if you are still in secondary school). Hopefully good numbers would take up the opportunity of a free ticket, and some may stick with it or return years later when they are working and can afford to support regularly.

I spoke with the club yesterday about this and they say it is a complete non starter because of the Health and Safety regulations. The only access to the corner is via the back stairs and this does not, in isolation, provide sufficent fire escape routes for the 500 or so that could be accomadated there. Even if an away team only brings 15 fans they have to meet the regulations as if it was full

I spoke with the club yesterday about this and they say it is a complete non starter because of the Health and Safety regulations. The only access to the corner is via the back stairs and this does not, in isolation, provide sufficent fire escape routes for the 500 or so that could be accomadated there. Even if an away team only brings 15 fans they have to meet the regulations as if it was full

then with 15 fans, do we really need segregation?
