Marinerian must be cumming in his long johns at the thought of this. Hopefully we'll have that supporters bar open at Cottees by then so all their fans can join us to watch some old town games on beta max on a old tv in the corner. You never know, we might even have moved into our trawler shaped stadium by then, what a game this would be to open it!

I am looking forward to see what happens

Why did the above make me think of this (but with a Flemish rather than Dutch accent)?

good idea! ive always thought it would be good to play a 4 team tournament. maybe 4 teams that:

a. play in the same style shirts (doubt we'll play juve though)

b. have kits manufactured by the same company

c. have links in some way with each other i.e. twinned towns, players played for both clubs
, fishing heritage

just a thought.

This sounds like something that's happened before.  The Errea tournament with Mike Newell as a common link didn't end too well

I have changed my grundies four times because I am so excited

In seriousness, says it all when a club and their fans take more interest than 90% of N.E. Lincolnshires population!

Marinerian is too busy with his multiple national dog walking empire to worry about a silly pre-season friendly!

I'd be very very surprised if this comes off.

Shame, would be nice though if it did.
