I couldn't believe last night that people (alledgely fans) were actually moaning that we won.  I find this very difficult to understand and then it got me thinking why are these people moaning is it because -

- they are so use to the many years of decline and we know nothing different
- because they had a bad day and felt its only fair to take it out on the players
- they've not had their daily, weekly, monthly '10 dollar'
- regardless who is the manager(s) and who they've signed because JF is still at the helm its the only way they can try and get rid of him
- or very passionate and expect instant results and success

whatever the reason they need to stay away imo because they are not having a positive influence on the team, i mean this sort of crap is not going to help the players is it its probably doing more harm than good.  Try and put yourself in their shoes, not been at the club long, still trying to find their feet, nervous as fook incase they make a mistake and get abuse, its like an on going battle thats been doing the rounds for many years, managers have come and gone, players have come and gone, but the only thing we haven't changed is the fans (obvioulsy impossible).  

I've been to thousands of towns games, yes i've had a moan under my breath but never shouted at the players it sort of defeats the object of going to CHEER your team on.  I understand people pay decent money to watch town but you have to understand there is that 50% chance town could lose the match and no doubt the moaners appear from all areas of the ground even forums.  I can sort of understand the fans frustration regarding the Baintree game but that was several games ago and besides Baintree have that momentum from when they won promotion and probably haven't had 10 new player to blend in, it happens all the time, look at how many teams have gain promotion and have excelled the following year e.g. Stevenage, Crawley Exeter to name but a few.

obvioulsy i have no powers but hearing this sort of thing is very sad, disheartning and annoying.

The question you have to ask yourself is

Why do you go to Town games?

I go because i love my home town and want the team to do their best and i am GRIMSBY TILL I DIE

I have heard allsorts of different responses like they dont like the style of play etc and to be honest all pretty pathetic.

You are the same as me in seeing loads of Town games so I cant understand how you are happy with the excrement we have had and are still being served up over the tenure of Fenty and his minions.

Fed up of people saying because people (including me) are not satisfied with what we are seeing now means we are not true supporters, opinions differ and they should be respected.
