The other thing that seems to be going on is that some fans seem to be trying to create a perfect fan.... This includes having to attend every game religiously, clapping regardless of what is going on on the pitch or off it and having to generally toe the party line, without saying anything to criticise the club, regardless of whether their point is valid or not .... Well i'm sorry but all of that doesn't make you a true fan at all... Some people may actually think they are mugs for doing all of the above, trying to impersonate the perfect fan....

To be a true fan in my opinion, you just need to care for the club... It's not about how loud you can clap whilst we are heading for relegation, or how polite you are to some of the tossbag players that have mugged the club and the fans... It's not about how much money you have spent and getting very little in return, it's not about how many millions and zillions of games you have been to.... It's about wanting the best for the club and whilst we all don't agree on how the best for the club comes about, it doesn't mean to say your way of being a supporter is any better or worse than others....

surely watching the game yourself you come to your own conclusions about tactics,players and how the team have played in general,rather than taking the radios opinion as gospel,,i,m very aware of other peoples other commitments and priorities that come 1st before GTFC,but i,d sooner make my own judgement rather than listening to peoples opinions on the local radio who actually havnt been or have no intention of supporting their "home "club!makes me laugh when i walk into the imp prior to a game and hear some people say,,"it looks like town must be at home tonight"and start an avalanche of abuse about how they think gtfc is shite!then say which pubs showing the man,u v arsenal game are we off!

Despite the rights and wrongs of what they did or didn't do, it still doesn't mean they aren't GTFC fans... Although you won't get away with saying they are on here, they don't fit the pre-cast fishy proper fan model...

Well based on last nights attendence the Club dont seem to have much of an appeal to the good folk of Ne Lincs so they may have to be less choosy?Also can you believe they had no draught lager or bitter in the Main stand and even worse gave out warm cans at the same price as a draft pt im afraid at BP the fan is just a sheep with a wallet.

i think they are called plastic fans aren't they...my first club is GTFC my 2nd is Liverpool, i have never been to anfield i'm just a premiership armchair supporter who keeps an eye out for both teams but GTFC is always the one i follow the most.

If that was me i would be explaining this to JF in the wake he does something about it or atleast gives you a voucher.

Your last part is what I meant when saying that the club have something to prove to fans, not fans having something to prove to the club, as some people seem to see it... The club has screwed the fans over for so long and whilst most will never stop caring for the club, some will stop going until they get value for money or those that do go will moan when they don't get value for money...

And yes I can believe they had no lager or bitter, the first game of the season saw them having to change the barrels in the bar in the lower at half time because they had run out... I mean first game of the season, it's a joke...

Ooops, apologies if i'm not allowed to moan about the bar as I wasn't there last night, although I was there on the day, so am I allowed to moan about that..??? Oh I don't know, it's getting very confusing being a fan of GTFC, I know that...

And yes the ground is quiet... It's a morgue and fast becoming an empty one at that... In your opinion the team are doing OK, that's not really mine, nor many others and even if they was doing OK I think it would take more than that to get fans to part with their cash, particularly with you know who still driving the club in reverse gear...

Yeah depending on what era you started going to games its not been like that since the late eighties thats when i started going. The atmosphere was really good, even if we lost and i cant remember much abuse to the players back then. Yeah i agree the ground is starting to become a morgue.....why is that (apart from were in the bsp) have the fans (mainly the ponny) given up their singing careers lol as far as i remember the ponny use to be always full of voice and they started the atmosphere around the ground, now it appears to be the upper findus.

I dont tend to shout at players its not my bag, but as for the catering i too agree with other fans that its shambolic, having said that i have several pints at the imp and the occassional one at HT, very really bother with food as the last time it looked like it come straight out the freezer...in fact i didn't even know what i bought it was that bad. (sorry i'm moaning haha) i guess they all contribute to the same problem.
