Not an ex-player, but a "Grimsby born player".    There were many posts about Coventry beating us in the FA Cup.  The winning (hotly disputed) penalty was scored by Mick Coop - born in Grimsby. I don't think that this was mentioned.

The Town fans numbered 12,000 from memory.

Mark Hudson is becoming a real non-league journeyman...played for Worksop Town, Bradford Park Avenue and West Auckland Town last season. This year he has already played for Ashington (non-league side we ditched in the FA Trophy the other year) and Sunderland RCA, and last week he completed a move to Shildon.

Quite astonised with his sudden drop, he wasn't great but he wasn't that bad.
