Pretty certain it's Bolton - 72 years in the top flight.

Ok here's one....

Which competition and game am I talking about ?

At the time it was played....

- The only penalty to be missed in a final.
- Had only the 2nd player to score in 2 finals (but not successive ones)
- At the time of the final, losers were European champions and had not lost to another European country for 4 years.
- Had 2nd ?????? to captain a winning side. [PS Just blanked out don't pay any attention to the number of ?]

1982 WORLD CUP FINAL
Italy 3 West Germany 1
The only penalty to be missed in a World Cup final and only the 2nd player(Paul Breitner 1974, 1982) to score in 2.
At the time of the final, West Germany were European champions and had not lost to another European country for 4 years.
Dino Zoff was the 2nd goalkeeper to captain a World Cup winning side.

Good stuff. I didn't know about the penalty but the rest of it fitted into place.
