Is it big enough yet for it to be brought to the attention of the House of Commons?

This fascination with the plight of GTFC, resulting in all kinds of global interest in all things N E Lincolnshire, should surely have some national representation too...

Shona, Austin and a few others might be thinking it's time to step in to the limelight and try to bask in its glory...wonder how far they'd get in to reading Poojah's words before the speaker stepped in though?

I'm going to be honest here.  Grimsby has always been the place no-one wants to go to on a cold Tuesday night in January. We've all turned our noses up at you and have never really cared about how you do or where you are in the league.

I just had to Google you to see where exactly you were placed in League 2. Thank god for Darlington hey?

The phenomenon that Poojah has created seems to have had a positive effect on your club.

Suddenly we all care.

We all want you to smash 4 past Northampton.

Will it happen? You never know with our beloved game.


Just so you know I'm an Ipswich fan so I too have endured years of the ignorant masses turning their noses up at my club. It must be an east coast thing!


Anyway good luck with everything. It sounds like you're gonna need it.

Given the amount of views Poojah's letter has had.  It equates to more than 600 per hour since he posted it.  Given that it has only really taken off over the last 2 or three days that is phenominal.

I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
