Feel really sorry for him, must be devastating when your body just can't keep up with your choice of career.

For us though, as harsh as this sounds, I'm glad we're seeing this now before we get tempted into a permanent move in the summer. It saves us from signing another talented but chronically injured midfielder.

Disappointed for the lad, think he's got real ability in the top third of the pitch, but the loan has to be cut short to protect ourselves. Davies will find it devastating that his body is letting him down again.

I think he has to go, was a bit underwhelmed initially but he has improved recently, but if he's on the money he allegedly is, I think we should send back.

Should have gone back after his Bradford game. I was not amused to hear Parkinson break the news that he was staying with us.

Only caught a minute of the post match interview. DA may as well have declined the interview if he has lost respect for Matt Dean. I have lost a bit of respect for the pair of them.

Let's bin all interviews, in training vids, 'unforgettable' nights in McMenemy's and all such fluff. Dedicate all resources to improving on pitch performance, fitness and OS comms.

The likes of Barrington and Obikwu, there is a bigger picture around future loans to consider, but with Davies we need to consider what he's likely to contribute for the rest of the season, whether we want him permanently, and how likely that would be. Unfortunately, when I consider those points, I think it's time to send him back to Wrexham.

You would hope it’s a mutual break clause.

It might work for Wrexham as they can get an episode about him being broken in intensive care , written off, but against all the odds they nurse him back to a heroic return.

Let’s face it the McLean story this week will give them a good few episodes, maybe they should have used a stunt man.

It's 4-6 weeks. I'm embarrassed by the comments on Twitter about sending him back.

Poor fella has been unlucky. Hopefully he will be back for the sharp end of the season.

Good to hear it's only medium term. He's been very unlucky with injuries. Let's hope he is back to the form he showed in the first couple of games of the season when he's back.
